Garrett Hedlund Set to Star in Iraqi War Drama OUTSIDE THE WIRE

Post date:

Garrett Hedlund, known for his roles in Four Brothers and Triple Frontier, and Brady Jandreau (The Rider) have joined the cast of the Iraq-set war drama Outside the Wire. They join the already cast Zahraa Ghandour (The Journey). Paxton Winters (Pacified) is directing from a script he wrote for the film.

Here’s the synopsis:

[Outside the Wire] is about an American soldier and an Iraqi insurgent who find themselves dependent on each other for their survival. The two are thrust together on a road trip through the perils of the new Iraq. What starts as a journey of hate, forces the men to face their fears and navigate each other to reach their final destination.

Hedlund is a great actor, and this sounds like a good story to make a movie out of. It will be interesting to see how it turns out. Does this sound like a film you’ll want to check out?
