They don’t really take anything seriously and only really get overwhelmed or frustrated when they don’t get what they want. Watching our favorite movies, here are some true Aries protagonists, either by birth or their characteristics.

11 Wonder Woman – DCEU

Born on March 22nd, Wonder Woman was born an Aries, which is extremely obvious in her nature. She’s bold, brave, and nearly unstoppable, bred for war, and always refusing to give up.

She looks out for the little people, even if small crime is a little below her pay grade. She’s always ready for the next fight and her natural stubbornness makes her a good leader and valued part of the Justice League.

10 Captain Kirk – Star Trek Franchise

He’s cocky, impulsive, and a little bit arrogant, Captain Kirk is the perfect embodiment of a true Aries. He likes to be in charge and although he’s not a conventional leader, his natural skills make people want to follow him and gravitate around him.

His biggest downfall is his ego, much like Aries tend to do, his impulses often trump his logic and he is oftentimes biting off more than he can chew.

9 Walter Kovacs/Rorschach – Watchmen (2009)

He’s not a guy you’d often associate with Aries but there is a lot more to Rorshach than people really know. Born March 21st, Walter Kovacs wears his mask to hide his features and even considers his Rorshach persona to be his true form.

What makes him a true Aries is his short temper and brooding nature, with his ideals and preferences making him a loner despite his ability to be a hero. He dives into his work and there’s not a lot of people who can stop him from reaching his goals.

8 Megara – Hercules (1997)

Megara is the beautiful love interest in Hercules, but she is much more than that. She’s confident, sure of herself, and she acts before she thinks. She prefers her independence but when she meets Hercules, it all gets thrown out the window.

She took initiative due to Herc’s awkward nature and refused to stand down, even against Hades. As a true Aries, she flaunts what she has but doesn’t let anyone get too close.

6 Buzz Lightyear – Toy Story Franchise

The other half of the dynamic duo, Buzz was created on March 23rd, giving him an Aries birthday. When we first meet Buzz under the illusion he is a human space ranger, we see he is a dutiful and dedicated soldier. Among the rest of the toys, he instantly becomes popular and his competitive nature puts him at odds with Woody.

5 Mike Wazowski – Monsters Inc & Monster’s University

His positive and optimistic attitude makes him a little bit of a goofball but nonetheless, we all love Mike Wazowski. Despite his hardships, Mike has always had his ambitions of being the scariest monster with the most successful career.

Pair him up with Sully and he did just that. Mike often acts on his instincts and although he gets in trouble often, he learns from his mistakes and continues to be motivated. All signs point to Mike being an ideal Aries.

4 Fred & George Weasley – Harry Potter Series

Ironically born April 1st, don’t let their constant goofing around fool you, the boys are as ambitious as they come. Dropping out of school to start their own business, we saw they had high hopes for themselves and it didn’t involve school.

Like the rest of the Weasley’s, the boys were often subject to ridicule due to their less privileged lifestyle but they didn’t let it get them down. For the boys it was simple, if they wanted to do something, they would do it, regardless of consequences. And the love they have for each other makes it undeniable they are Aries.

3 Wendy – Peter Pan (1953)

Born on April 6th, Rocky might just be one of the most famous Aries of all time. His ambitions led him to be a successful boxer, and his impulses almost ruined his career. He doesn’t take no for an answer and usually dives into his problems head first without thinking of the consequences.

As he gets older in Creed, he acts as a mentor and teaches a young Creed from teaching him from his mistakes. He’s a hands-on guy and a stubborn man who doesn’t stop until he has achieved his goals.
